If NBC wants to cancel a Thursday night show. Cancel The Office, terrible last night and Pam wasn’t even on it. Fuck you NBC.
Thanks to the cunts in charge of my local NBC station, my DVR’d Community was canceled to show a local news anchor play Who Wants To Be A Millionaire for charity. Peggy Finnigan you will loath the day you ruined Community. Loath I tell you.

My local NBC affiliate, WPXI in Pittsburgh, bumped Community from their schedule last night in order to show an episode of “Who Wants to be a Millionaire” where a couple of their news anchors went on the show to try and win money for charity.
Even though I missed the first few minutes of Community because of that tom foolery, I was able to find a northern West Virginia NBC station that did not bump community, but kept running commercials for some Cash 4 Gold expo this weekend with some hillbilly talking and I could not understand a word he was saying except for “PRECIOUS METALS!” I thought for a minute that I might have been having a stroke.
It was almost as bad as the time when I was a kid and the Pittsburgh ABC station, WTAE, thought it would be a good idea to bump the entire ABC TGI Friday sitcom lineup (Full House, Family Matters, Perfect Strangers, etc.) and replace it with a special about a decapitated head that was found and trying to figure out where the rest of the body was and displaying very creepy computer generated images of what they thought this guy looked like before his head was removed from his body from the jaw up.
I didn’t see it, I was too busy being told when to laugh at the HYSTERICAL Big Bang Theory. Man those guys sure are funny with their catchphrases and quirkiness.
@Tim Was Time, The biggest in mine was for Emily Blunt. “HAHAHA, SHE’S SITTING AT A DESK, JUST LIKE SHE DID IN DEVIL WEARS PRADA,” says America. No one laughed at Mickey Rooney, the number one box office draw from 1939 to 1940.
Jeff’s reaction to the human foosball gag was really funny, for some reason. Shows never point out obvious stupid things like that. “What, were they carrying that soccer ball around JUST so they could do that?”
It’s refreshing to have a poster with the nerd credentials to enjoy the analogy between Dr. Spacetime and Dr. Who. It’s a pretty funny subplot if you know what is going on.
@WiltStilts Give me a couple of months to develop some immunity to WarmingGlow barbs and I will sneak a Doctor Who list into a dark corner of the site.
After watching the brilliance of Community last night, I decided to watch “Big Bang Theory” today On-Demand. All I can say is that was the 4th best paintball themed episode I’ve seen of a show in the 7-7:30 time slot.
Did anyone else think the little kid in the foosball flashback that they oddly focused in on was going to be Abed? And he knew the whole story, because Abed knows everything?
OSUchelle10 – I thought that at first as well, but when I thought about it it seemed like a stretch because I thought Abed was on the younger side of the group. Older than Troy and Annie, but Younger than Britta.

(Sidenote: During The Muppet Movie, the cameo that got the biggest reaction from the crowd I saw it with, was Jim Parsons. Why are you dumb, America?)
