Last month we learned that MTV planned a summer launch for its Hot Chicks with Douchebags-inspired TV show “Is She Really Going Out with Him?,” and after seeing the preview clip, no one summed it up better than commenter La Schmoove, who said, “My brain just vomited into my eyes.”

Now that we’re only five days from the premiere episode, MTV has put several clips online, and I couldn’t not watch them.  I can’t not post them here.  It is written in my DNA that I share my gaping disbelief with you.  There are actual human beings that act this way.

The clip above is kind of overlong and involves a lot of backstory.  The REAL douchebaggery comes after the jump. [See update below]  I must have laughed in complete shock at least ten times while watching these clips.  You could gather one thousand writers, dip them in hair gel and body spray, and lock them in a tattoo parlor, and they still wouldn’t be able to write the things these guys say.  I could almost like this show if I didn’t hate everyone on it so much.

UPDATE: So, apparently the videos aren’t embeddable any more. Or maybe the Warming Glow software refuses to work with such douchebaggery. But the clips you need to see are here and here.

Weep.   Weep, America, for the day we feared has arrived.  “Is She Really Going Out with Him?” is a new MTV series from the creator of Hot Chicks with Douchebags, and if you thought that website was hard to read, wait until you hear some of the things these toolsheds say:

“I can see my reflection perfectly in the camera.”
“Every gangster needs a flatiron.”
“Why wear eyeliner?  Because it brings out your eyes.”

The series begins June 15th.  We have one more month as free, happy human beings.  Make these final days count, people.
