Tina Fey confirmed to Oprah that she is presently five months pregnant with her second child. But she’s so busy! Couldn’t she have gotten Amy Poehler to be her surrogate? …anyone? I guess I’m the only one who saw Baby Mama on that flight.

The 30 Rock star is five months along, her rep confirms to PEOPLE… Fey, 40, shared the news during an appearance to promote her new book, Bossypants, and an upcoming Saturday Night Live reunion. Oprah’s chat with Fey is scheduled to air April 12.

According to my TI-85 calculator, Fey will be six months pregnant when she hosts “Saturday Night Live” on May 7th. That’s pretty pregnant, right? Like, all of the characters she plays in sketches will have to be pregnant or holding bags of groceries or sitting behind a computer. But whatever, as long as she writes and delivers some of the jokes on Weekend Update, we all win.

Last June, Zach Anner became an Internet sensation when his video submission for Oprah’s “Your OWN Show” went viral. Despite some ugly developments in the online voting department, Zach is now one of three finalists to host his own show on OWN.

On the most recent episode of “Your OWN Show,” Oprah showed up for a surprise interview, and Anner was completely unfazed by it. He handled her questions with humor and self-aware honesty, and as she concluded the interview, he turned the meeting on its head by asking her some challenging questions. It’s really impressive to watch.

At this point, Anner can’t lose. He either wins and gets his own show, or he loses and gets a show on another network. And I really hope he ends up at another network. I have no idea how to find Oprah’s channel on my cable box.

Yikes, grim news from Africa (is there any other kind?): a dead baby was found on the grounds of the school that Oprah Winfrey opened in South Africa, suspected to be the child of a 17-year-old student there. Radar says:

Local police Captain Shado Mashobane told News24 that a 17-year-old student at the institution on Wednesday “gave birth to the baby at the school, but we can’t confirm what happened to it.

“A case of concealment of death is being investigated,” the lawman said, adding officials hadn’t yet determined if the child was killed or died of natural causes.

A newspaper in the area, Beeld, reported Friday that the body of the deceased child was recovered in a bloody plastic bag, though Mashobane told News24 he could not confirm the report.

Oprah promised to reveal a big secret on today’s show, a surprise that turned out to be her long-lost half-sister that she met for the first time on Thanksgiving. Or as Oprah said, “I’ve got a… BRAAAAAAND NEEEEEEEWWWWW SISTEEEERRRRRRRR!!!!!!!”

Winfrey has discovered she has a half-sister — a Milwaukee woman who was given up for adoption by Winfrey’s mother nearly 50 years ago, when the talk show host was eight years old…

Patricia, who Winfrey said bounced from foster home to foster home until she was adopted at age 7, had given up after previous searches for her mother. But she decided to resume looking several years ago at the insistence of her grown children. [AP]

Reached for comment, Patricia said, “Cha-ching!” No, I’m kidding. It’s actually the opposite:

[Winfrey] said Patricia had known since 2007 that the two were related, but never attempted to profit off her discovery or contact the press, even as she tried unsuccessfully to contact Winfrey, her mother or others in Winfrey’s family.

“She never once thought to sell the story,” Winfrey said, recalling how she felt betrayed by others who have sought to take advantage of their relationship with one of the largest figures in the entertainment world and one of the wealthiest women in the United States.

She never once thought to sell the story? Damn. Savvy move by Patty. That is a patient and solid investment. Oprah’s gonna hook her up with WAY more money now that she’s convinced of Patricia’s loyalty.
