One of my favorite things on the Internet is the epic feud that happened between FilmDrunk and the simple-minded owners of a Neverending Story-themed van. It’s the first thing I thought of when I saw this “Beverly Hills, 90210″-themed trailer that’s supposedly in Prague. You know, I’ve always heard that Prague’s a beautiful city, and now I know it’s true.

There’s nothing that I don’t love about the artwork here: the tunes coming out of Brandon’s boombox, the paint peeling from Dylan’s head, the pre-op tranny look of Donna — it’s all so delightful. I’d love to take a tour of the inside — I’ve always wanted to see jars of human organs.

The more I look back on pop culture from the ’90s, the more I want to set fire to my memories of adolescence.  For a couple years, before Shannen Doherty left and all the characters graduated and went to the same college (because that’s what high school friends do), “Beverly Hills 90210″ was THE television show for young people to watch.  And it was crap.  Utter crap.

Watch this video if you don’t believe me.  I’m 100% positive that Color Me Badd was the result of a music executive betting someone that he could take the four ugliest guys with decent pitch and make them into a pop sensation.  Their entire existence was a practical joke on pop culture.  And “90210″ fell for it.

Coming up on next Tuesday’s “90210,” Tori Spelling returns to the show to revive her famous character Donna Martin.  Famous for being the second-most unattractive chick on the original version of the show (sorry, Gabrielle Carteris).  In this alternate reality, Donna has become a fashion designer and has earned the honor of dressing uber-hipstress screenwriter Diablo Cody for the red carpet.

Video below is courtesy TV Addict.  Questions to ask yourself as you watch:  Is it still painful to watch Tori Spelling act?  Is it possible that Diablo Cody’s woodenness actually makes Tori look better?  Would I have loved to be an extra in a famous episode of “90210″ so I could have shouted, “Donna Martin masturbates!”?  Yes, yes, and most definitely yes.
